Jake Choi
Meet actor Jake Choi. He was born and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, N.Y. Growing up he played basketball and was passionate about playing. After he graduated high school he played semi pro basketball in Korea. While playing basketball in Korea an opportunity to host a TV show and Jake Choi the actor was born.
Jake is a talented actor who enjoys and respects the craft. His acting is very natural and authentic which makes him enjoyable to watch. Jake’s acting is versatile he is able to play comedic roles to dramatic roles. Through this process of growing as an actor Jake has remained humble and grounded which makes him more likeable. Jake finds daily motivation to act because he wants to help change people’s perspective of how Asian Americans are viewed in mainstream America and in Hollywood Jake said, “I would like to help Asian American actors be seen as not just kung-fu masters, smart geeks but as leading men in everyday common roles or even sex symbols.
